Rebuilding Together After the 1918 Fire

In 1918, fire destroyed the church building. Within a year, the congregation had rebuilt — and gathered to dedicate its new church in 1919.

Fire destroyed the church building in 1918 — one of the moments of loss recorded in the congregation's history.

The congregation responded the way it had learned to: together. In 1919, only a year after the fire, the people of the church gathered to dedicate its rebuilt building, carrying their worship and traditions forward into a new chapter.
