Privacy Policy

How This Site Handles Your Information.

Last updated October 2026. This policy describes only the features this website actually uses today.

Overview

This website is the author home for Marjorie Ann Parish, author of The History of the First United Methodist Church. It is designed to share the book and the history it preserves — not to collect or trade in personal information.

The site contains no advertising, no third-party tracking scripts, and no data sales of any kind.

Contact form

The contact form collects the name, email address, inquiry type, and message you choose to send. Submissions are emailed to the site owner and reviewed so that your message can be answered.

Messages are used only to respond to you. Submissions are never published automatically — historical memories or photographs shared through the form require explicit permission before any publication, and nothing is added to the public site without it.

Questions about this policy or about a message you sent can be raised through the contact form itself; the site owner reviews every submission.

Analytics

This site does not currently use analytics services. If that changes, this policy will be updated before measurement begins, and only privacy-respecting, non-tracking tools will be considered.

Newsletters & subscriptions

This site does not currently offer a newsletter or subscription feature. No email addresses are collected except through the contact form, described above.

External links

Where this site links to a retailer or another website, that destination has its own privacy practices, which this policy does not govern.

Changes to this policy

This policy was last updated October 2026. If features that collect additional information are added — analytics, newsletters, or otherwise — this page will be updated to describe them before they launch.

Your stories are treated with the same care as the history itself.
